| We are again honored to have Jon Houghton teach a workshop in oil portrait at the Guild.
The dates are:
April 29, 30 and May 1, 2022 from 9:30-4:30 with a 1 hour lunch break. The workshop will be directed to all attendees, whether beginning or professional. Jon will focus on a “quick portrait” , a finished portrait in one session using a “fast palette”.
He will teach color distribution on the face, including colorful shadows. He will then emphasize details of the features which add to a realistic portrait. Although not emphasizing a likeness, these techniques will contribute to an excellent likeness while expediting the process. Join us for what will be a most productive workshop. Guild members cost: $360
