Roswitha Lacuesta, a member of our Guild, won second place in watercolor for her work titled 'Metamorphosis - The Lorelei' at the Melbourne Art Festival 2013

Roswitha Lacuesta, a native of Germany, painted in watercolor since her childhood guided and inspired by her father. Her studies in Europe and with various artists in the USA lead her to her current interest of abstract and non representational painting. Living in Florida she is also inspired daily by its beautiful wildlife and scenery which she has included in her work.
