This will be a Show of Our Best Work!

The artwork does not need to be "current" We want to see those great works of art that have been out of sight for many years.

  • Cash Awards - amount to be determined by participation
  • Media Coverage... Our Blog will feature an online show of fifteen runner-ups and feature articles on the winners
  • Winners will be displayed at The 905 Café
  • The show will be exhibited at the Guild

    Entry Information

    • The cost will be $10 per entry
    • Take-in will be 10 AM - 3 PM, April 16, 2011
    • Open to Guild Members and Art Students (School ID required)
    • There will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Best of Show.
      • There will be no media categories.
      • Three dimensional art entries must be less than 24", 30 lbs.
      • All 2D entries must be suitable for hanging
    • Winners will be announced April 23 at 9:30 AM at the Guild. Note that the Melbourne Art Show is that weekend so make plans accordingly .
    • Our judge is Jackie Borsanyi, Curator of Exhibitions at the Brevard Art Museum.
    • Winners will be displayed at The 905 Café (next door.)  Art must remain a minimum of one month (May 21), with pickup at the guild, arranged with one of the guild officers or Bill McCoy
    • Remaining artworks will be exhibited at the Guild and must remain a minimum of two weeks
    • Artworks on display at the guild can remain at the guild until we approach the next show.
      • Prior Deliveries and take-out of art should be coordinated with one of the guild officers or Bill McCoy
    • All purchase requests will be forwarded to the Artist - the guild is not taking commissions but encourages donations
